Gary’s repairs my van even though it’s 28 years old which I appreciat Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Gary's was highly recommended by my Subaru mechanic for a truck that his shop didn't service. My brakes were smoking (!) after exiting a freeway. Gary's initially expected that the calipers would need replacing and predicted the cost would be around $800. After examining the truck, they determined that the problem was mostly a brake adjustment issue with the possibility of a stuck parking brake, but all issues were taken care of in a one hour time frame for $135. I appreciate the honesty first of all. Just tested the truck with a couple of dump runs and I am happy to report my brakes are NOT smoking and everything appears fixed. Gary's did what my insurance company didn't do in 2 weeks. They scheduled me Monday morning to replace my key cylinder that had been stripped by a car thief. also found me a replacement middle seat that had been removed by said thief. I've been to Gary's a few times over the years—I have a 2007 truck that needs the occasional alignment check or exhaust tune-up—and they always take excellent care of me. The repairs are fast, and the staff is extremely communicative. That's on top of the price being more than fair 100% of the time. I won't go anywhere else.

I called because the heater/ac fan wasn't working. On a 95 degree day that sucks stuck in traffic. they said bring it in the next day (dealer was 3 weeks) and sure enough the fan was working. They said yeah can't diagnose when it's working so come back if it stops again. No Charge, nice guys. They worked on my wifes car about a year ago fixed a problem and didn't charge her either. They always seem to be busy, so the secret must be out.

Our tire slowly started to deflate while sitting in traffic. In search of a gas station to put air, we found Gary's instead and we were so thankful we did! We ran over a nail along the way and within 10 min they removed the mail, repaired the tire and we were on our way, no charge! They were so helpful and also let us know that we're needing new tires soon. Thanks Gary's!
